This morning we will leave for a family reunion. This is not a reunion like most. There will be no distant relatives. My aunts and uncles and cousins and their kids only. My aunt and uncle have spared nothing to prepare for us - half the population of the family will be under the age of 12. So there is a bounce house and a swimming pool and a lake and a boat and go karts and four wheelers and water balloon fights and bike paths and more and more and more.
For us, it is break for fun before we leave for the hospital. We will return on Saturday and leave for the hospital on Sunday evening. The kids will get farmed out on Monday and before we know it we will all be back home again. God is so good - speaking of the kids they are so excited about their plans during Mason's surgery. Makenna and Miles get to go to Aunt Kari and Uncle Andy's - it doesn't get any better than that. Camden gets to go trucking with Grandpa Pearson and he is thrilled. We are so thankful for the flexibility of our family,with the change in surgery date, they changed plans and it worked out. (Again, a testament to the faithfulness of a very loving God.)
