Just today a friend called and said please "start praying for me". She told me of her problem and I started to pray for her. She called me later and told me the problem was solved and she felt bad that she assumed the problem was going to blow up in to something huge. I thought about how many times I have called on a friend(a few are pictured above) and she has started to pray immediately and point me to Jesus--and because of our willingness to lay it at the feet of Jesus we reaped the benefits of good news or peace of mind. Prayer is mighty powerful and throughout the summer I have pondered where we would be or how our lives may be different if we didn't rely on Almighty God. I challenge you to abide in him and see the outcome!
