The long long road is before Ben this morning. He and about a dozen other men and women headed out for a mission trip to Lousiana at 5am. Their main task will be to help with clean up and rebuilding. I am so proud that Ben has taken this step so far outside his comfort zone. He will be gone until next weekend.
My main task is to hold down the fort and, at this moment, the task seems daunting. I, with the Lords help, can do this. Pray for Ben and his group if you think of it. Also, there are about 40 children whose mom or dad will be gone this week, pray for those that are staying home. I appreciate it. Until later...

My parents went last spring and they came back so high from the trip. Someday I'll swing by and get you and we'll take a little trip. I mean it Sandy. You're going with me if the opportunity ever even comes close to you. Weird that we're still friends after all this time isn't? Seems like that was an eternity ago...

Really super cool that Ben is doing this, though it must be a hard week for you, flying solo. This too will pass . . .

Love,

Suzanne
