My very intuitive cousin-in-law made me very aware of how easy it will be to have Mason become the most favored child. Naturally, his needs are met as soon as something arises. I am becoming aware of how that makes the other kids feel. I am intentionally working toward making their needs be as valued as Mason's. They are all doing well and mostly thankful that they don't have to think about their baby brother going through the awful surgery anymore. Makenna is off to a concert in the park with Grandma Buswell this afternoon and the big boys are with Grandpa Mark mowing and working. Ben will be loading corn so I will have the afternoon to gather my thoughts, clean up and maybe rest a bit.
