My kids are all fighting. The youngest has a horrible ear infection in both ears. We are supposed to drive to be with our family for Christmas but the weather report is not good so we probably won't make it. My husband woke up with a raging headache in the night and considered going over to the hospital. We have to go to the dentist this morning and all my kids need to have further work done. Ben's job is on the line, I think I am "with child", and the list goes on and on and on.

Don't panic most of the above is not true (I hope) but what if it was. I have pondered for weeks leading up to Christmas the "state of the union" and its effect on friends and family and the "state of the union" is that Jesus is still on the throne. I need to rest in the fact that if my kids are fighting, we can't see family for christmas, Ben has a headache, the dentist report is bad, Ben loses his job, we have another baby -God is still in control--Because of that we truly can have a Merry Christmas. God is so good - if you don't know him personally - Pray and pour your heart out to him this Christmas, HE is waiting for you, no matter your circumstances.
