i met with a friend this morning. we met at the fitness center and worked out for about 40 minutes. this time is so awesome--not the fact that it is 6 am or that we are sweating but that i get to visit with robin. she is a treasure and the voice that i sometimes need to hear most. she is compassionate and kind and would do nothing to intentionally hurt but she also will tell me things that i may not want to hear. i have only a few friends like her. it is amazing how God brings people at just the right times. Kathi during college; Lori, Erika, and Shari during the early married years;Becca during the early parenting years;Joan, Dannika, Tawnya and Robin in the present. each of these will hold special places in my heart forever. these along with a variety of others have been used by God to change and mold me.
