Last saturday we went to a pumpkin party at the Nelson's farm. This is an annual event that the kids look forward to as soon as we get the invitation in the mail. Camden was farming with Ben and Mason stayed home with Grandma (he really isn't ready for pumpkin parties). There was scavenger hunt, pumpkin carving or painting, a pumpkin pinata (one for big kids and one for small kids) and of course hotdogs with the fixings. The kids had a great time--and they slept great that night.

On another note, harvest has begun. Camden is beside himself with excitement. He spends every waking moment thinking about when they can get to the field next. Yesterday we drove out to the field and I received a tutorial from him about where they had harvested and what they were doing next. He is his fathers' son!!!

That is so awesome. I am sure it is pure joy for Ben to have a son that shares his passion. And how much fun is the pumpkin party! You lucky duck.
